This was a new location for me to shoot at. Right here in Orange County. It is located in the Newport Coast area. It’s a great beach with these old beach cottages. The trail down to the cove is really nice also. It’s a great place to shoot. For photographers out there. Be sure to get a permit first. I found out that day that they do right up tickets and sometime take your gear. We finished our shoot just in time that day.

On this day I headed down to Marina Del Rey. It was a beautiful day at the beach. I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding. It is going to be taking place in Cancun. I can’t wait.

Their first date took place at this little sushi shop in Marina Del Rey.

I had some fun hanging out at The Mission San Juan Capistrano with this great family. In Feb. this year I photographed Zana and Ren’s wedding. Now it was time for the whole family to get together for some holiday portraits.

It was fun trying to get this shot without anyone blinking.

I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for sometime. Sonja is a great friend on my studio manager Michelle. It was fun having Michelle as one of the bridesmaids. I first met Mike when I did their engagement pictures in Boston. That was a blast.
Now the wedding has finally arrived. It took place Friday at The Hyatt Huntington Beach.
She had a great team of vendors for her day. Another bonus was the fact that she also booked the photobooth for her day. It was such a hit.
She had Kendra with Prima Events coordinating. Amanda with Fantasy Floral Design doing the flowers. Peter Merry of Merry Weddings was the entertainment for the evening. He did an amazing job as always.

I’m putting a bunch of great images that I got during the introduction. Peter Merry does such an amazing job during the grand entrance. He does a great job with the whole reception. In fact he wrote a book on it. It’s called The Best Wedding Reception Ever. If you’re in the planning stages of your wedding you should definitely check out his book.

Last Sunday I finished the weekend off with Stephanie and Adam. The wedding took place at The Island Hotel in Newport Beach.
The coordinator on the event was Lisa Simpson. I haven’t worked with Lisa in sometime. It was great to see her. The beautiful flowers for the day were done by Marcia Johnson.

Last Saturday I had a great time hanging out with Tina and Tamer and their great friends and family.
It was a long day that started off at Tina’s parents house in Newport Coast then we headed to the church then finished the day off at The Fairmont Hotel.
I also had the pleasure to work with Lisa Moon of Lisa Moon Events. It is always so great to work with Lisa. This was a very large wedding. Over 400 guests. Lisa and her team kept everything on track the entire day.

Last weekend was another busy 3 days. I had 3 weddings. It started on Friday with Wendy and David at The Turnip Rose. I never get tired of shooting at The Turnip Rose. Such a beautiful property and the greatest staff. Many of them have become friends of mine over the years.

I’ve decided to start branching out the studio across the US. The first studio outside of California is in Scottsdale Arizona. The Arizona studio is a joint venture between myself and my good frien Mark Cafiero out of Colorado. Last week I was in Arizona doing the final touches on the studio.There are just a few more prints to hang but is ready to start doing meetings. So any of my couples out there who have friends in Arizone be sure to pass me name along. Myself and my great team of photographers are ready to start shooting in Arizona. The next studio to open is in Hawaii and New York.
Here is a couple pictures of the inside of my Scotsdale studio. It’s a mini version of my Huntington Beach studio.

Scottsdale Arizona is a very hip city. There is a W Hotel being built right across from my studio. There are already some very hip Hotels in town.
Last week I stayed in one of the coolest hotels ever.

It is a hotel built in 1957. It has such a cool set up. It might sound crazy but it’s like The Brady Bunch meets The W hotel. I love the rooms. They have bath tubs in the middle of the room so you can chill out in the tub and watch a movie on the flat screen. So on your next trip to Scottsdale be sure to check it out.

Yesterday I got to hang out at The Santa Monica Pier. These two are such a blast.
