The very next day back from London I was right back at shooting. I had such a blast with Courtney. She was all smiles all day. Her day took place at The beautiful Turnip Rose.

She had a beautiful flowers provided by Lavender Hill in Huntington Beach.

They wanted to part of their cocktail hour. So they had this great special moment before the ceremony to first see each other.

I’ve had a crazy week. Last week Stephanie and I took off to spend a few days with our friends Alex & Julie of Elysium Productions. A few months back they told us they were going to be spending some time in London. Alex is from England. He was going home to visit his family. So Stephanie and I decided to join them for a few days. We always jump at a chance to travel. We had a blast. We arrived Monday and returned on Friday. It was a quick trip but worth it. We didn’t take many pictures. We mostly enjoyed just hanging out.

We started the trip out at LAX. We ran into Eric one of my photographers at the airport. He was flying out to shoot a wedding in Hawaii for the studio. He just happened to be at the gate right next to us. So look how we spent out time at the airport.

Now here we are in London taking a picture in front of the Apple Store.

Some of these pictures are taken with a small point and shoot. So ignore the quality on a few of the shoots.

Here we are riding the tube. I love the underground in London. It’s so easy to figure out where you are going.

Stephanie’s Oyster card was giving her trouble. The Oyster card is your pass to get on and off the tube.

We decided to head to Hampton Court. Stephanie loves all reading all about the era of King Henry VIII. So we decided to go see where he liked to hangout. On the train headed for Hampton Court.

It was such a beautiful property.

These kids were playing in one of the courtyards. How cool would it be to be a kid and get to play in a place like this.

It is pretty cold around England. I can see why they needed such large fireplaces to try to keep the place warm.

The property had some amazing gardens. It’s so crazy to think that King Henry VIII walked around these very gardens.

We were having some fun. Who got the most air. I think I won.

We spent much of our time on this trip in Pubs. It was great. We love the pints of cider.

Our last shot of the trip. Our last night out we found this very cool bar. It was located right underneath the street on this corner. It was so small. A very cool place. They have this amazing singer there on Thursday nights. We loved it.

Stephanie and I headed home on Friday. I had a wedding to shoot on Saturday. Alex and Julie continued on with there vacation.

Another fun session in Laguna. I told these 2 I would have there pictures blogged before I left town. Well I’m sitting in LAX right now. My flight was delayed. So I had some extra time to make this happen.
We started this day off walking around downtown. Then we headed to the water.

Here I am back in Laguna. I never get tired of shooting in Laguna. It’s always so much fun. This couple really took a beating by the water. It was worth it though.

Saturday I was back at the beautiful Turnip Rose. Kellee really went all out for her wedding.

It was such a great party after these two set the pace with their amazing first dance. They had Bruce Battleson as the DJ which always makes for a great event.

Last week I had the opportunity to shoot an amazing wedding in Canfield Ohio. I have shot weddings for family and friends of Kim’s. So I was so excited when I heard that Kim wanted to get married in Adams home town. I always love when I get to shoot at new locations.
It was a very cold day. It was about 32 degrees outside. The weather didn’t stop us from going outside and getting some great images.

There was even some snow on the ground. Kim and he bridesmaids all wore cowboy boots. I loved it!!

Here is Kim with her sisters. They are so much fun. They were up for anything.

I had all the girls walking through the mud. I had to get them out in the woods.

Thanks to these boots we were able to have much more fun with the pictures.

The were married in this great little church. Which is a historic sight in the town.

What a great looking family. These parents have some good genes. I’ve known this family for a few years now. They are always so great.

This church makes for a great backdrop.

The day before the wedding Stephanie and I explored the area a little. We came across an abandon barn. We knew it would make for amazing pictures. We also knew we would have to get dirty to get the shots. It was a muddy mess all around the barn. I was so pumped that the couple and the wedding party were up for anything.

The girls were having so much fun in the mud.

I even talked the couple to going inside the barn. We went up to the 2nd floor of the barn. Much of the floor was collapsed. It was a little sketchy. It didn’t stop Kim. Anything for the shot.

I’m loving this barn. We just have these kind places to shoot in Orange County.
