You’re probably wondering where is Alpine. So was I when I was driving to this location. It is down in San Diego County. Deep into San Diego County. It was worth the drive. I felt like I was a million miles from home. It was nice to get a chance to shoot at a new location. I always love that.
They had this beautiful horse on the property that we were able to get into a few shots. \

This was a great wedding to be a part of. I shot Michelle’s twin sisters wedding last year. So I’ve got to know her and all her fun bridesmaids. We started the day out in Laguna. It was also fun hanging out with my good friend Dan from Plug Video. We always have a blast working together.

Are these two sisters. ![]()

Randy from Lake Forest Limo’s provided the getaway car. I love his cars.

I shot a couple weddings over the weekend. Starting out Friday in Dana Point with these two. It was a beautiful day for a beach wedding. They had Sharon Gall of Once Upon A Time Weddings Running the show. So the day went off without a hitch. Sharon always does an amazing job for her couples.

The Spiraled Stem supplied the beautiful flowers for the day.

The reception took place at The Dana Point Yacht Club. Which is now being run by the amazing Turnip Rose team.

I had another shoot on Thursday that took place in Carlsbad. Joe proposed to Sara by the beach in Carlsbad. So we decided to do their engagement session around the area where the proposal took place.

It wouldn’t be a complete shot without one of these images.

JIM KENNEDY PHOTOGRAPHERS RECOGNIZED IN
THE KNOT BEST OF WEDDING MAGAZINE
Annual Survey of Recently Married Couples in Orange County
Reveals Top Wedding Vendors
Orange County Ca. April 2008 — JIM KENNEDY PHOTOGRAPHERS is pleased to announce it has been selected as a 2008 Pick for The Knot Best of Weddings magazine, a coast-to-coast, by-brides-for-brides guide to the top wedding sites, photographers, florists, and more in over 40 key cities across the United States published by The Knot Inc., the #1 wedding website and most trusted wedding resource.
The Knot conducted its second annual survey of over 20,000 recent brides to capture detailed feedback on every business that couples hired for their wedding celebration.
Orange County newlyweds contributed their raves and reviews on the area’s wedding professionals. The newlyweds were asked to rate their vendors on multiple criteria, from creativity to professionalism, and to comment on their experiences. The resulting ratings—and detailed feedback—were aggregated by the editors of The Knot to create this one-of-a-kind publication highlighting the best wedding resources in each region according to local brides. The survey was administered by Harris Interactive.
It was such a great surprise to see that my studio was named in this issue. It means so much that my couples have an amazing experience on their wedding day.
The Knot Best of Weddings magazine is available for $9.99 on newsstands and in major bookstores nationwide, and at TheKnot.com/shop.
One note. My studio’s name was listed by mistake in the Northern California area.
