Welcome to my life. I'm so excited to be able to share stories of all the great people I get to photograph every week. I will also be able to share a
little of my personal life as well. Not only will I be sharing with you my stories but also a little about the great team of photographers that have partnered
up with my studio and the people they photograph. I feel so privileged to call them Jim Kennedy Photographers.
We all love what we do for a living. They say that once you find what you love to do you'll never work another day in your life. That sums up my life exactly. Welcome to my world.

Another fun wedding to be a part of. Lisa Simpson Weddings kept the day running smoothly. Catherine had Lauren from Design Visage doing hair and makeup. Which is a great way to start off your day. Once Catherine was dressed we headed out for the first site.

Another great location in Orange County is Talega. Michael Voorhees is so great to work with over there. The brides say so many great things about Michael. Then if you also have a great wedding coordinator like Gini Garner of GIni Garner Events who did an amazing job working with Janet & Derek it’s hard to go wrong. I was also so excited that Janet & Derek hired TIm from Invisible Touch to Dj their event. Not only is he a great Dj he also plays electric violin. Which is so amazing. I could listen to him play all day. They also had one of the best videography companies out there shooting their event. Rob & Zach with Elman Adam Films. Also beautiful flowers by Amanda at Fantasy Floral Design.Â

Back again at St. Regis. I can never get enough of this beautiful property. I always love shooting here. ALso getting to work with my good friend and amazing coordinator Gini Garner is also such a bonus. Design Visage did an amazing job with hair and makeup. Gina looked amazing.
Gina and Sam are such a great couple. I had so much fun with all their family and friends.
St. Regis Wedding (Connie & Jimmy) |
This was a fun weekday wedding. Just the bride and groom and 2 guests. A very intimate beautiful wedding. I loved being a part of it.
San Diego Museum of Art & The Prado Wedding (Christine & Jake) |
I always love working in San Diego. So many great wedding locations. The San Diego Museum of Art for an evening ceremony then The Prado for the reception. So beautiful!
It was so cute seeing Christine hold her sisters brand new baby that was born just days before the wedding.

Another Beautiful wedding at The Surf & Sand Resort. I always love working with Sandy and the Surf & Sand staff. Walking in seeing Cara from Flawless Faces making Camilla flawless is a great start to the day.
Rancho Las Lomas Wedding (Stephanie & Brian) |
You can’t go wrong with a having your wedding at Rancho Las Lomas. Such a beautiful property. So many amazing backdrops. Kendra with Prima Events did amazing job pulling together a great team of vendors. The day ran perfectly.
Jenny B Floral Design did an amazing job with the decor. It was great to see Mike Ivy with Pro Audio as the DJ. Also having DOn Johnson as the officiant is also such a plus. He is so great at what he does.

I was real excited about this wedding. I’ve already photographed both Jacks sisters weddings. So I already knew I loved the family. They are so much fun. So I was super excited when jack called me to say it was his turn to get married. It was fun working with Kai of Katano Events again on this wedding. Kai was also the coordinator on both sisters weddings also. So it really made for a great day. We had some great vendors on this event.
The bride started her day off with Flawless Faces Inc. Which everybody knows I love. She also had Steve with Honored Occasions as the DJ. They had Ashley Video capturing their day. Plus the amazing staff ay Shady Canyon made it the perfect team for a wedding. We all had a blast working together.

Ponte is one of my favorite wineries in Temecula for a wedding. Plus it was a beautiful day in Temecula for a wedding. Which made for a great day.
